Prompt for this run

Build a playable tile-based platformer on a canvas in a Dangerous Dave-inspired style. Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed. Write it to `index.html` in the current working directory using your file tools. Inline your own CSS and JavaScript. Do not use external assets, CDNs, or network requests. No third-party libraries are provided. Required behavior: - Provide one completable level with solid platforms, a trophy, an exit, fire and water hazards, and at least one patrolling enemy. Draw everything procedurally. - Use Left/Right or A/D to move and Space to jump. Display the controls. Apply gravity, landing, and solid-wall collision; jumping is allowed only while grounded. - The player must collect the trophy before the exit completes the level. Reaching the exit without it gives visible feedback and keeps the level active. - Touching a hazard or enemy causes a loss state. Reaching the exit with the trophy causes a win state. - Provide Restart after either outcome and during play. Restart restores the level, trophy, enemies, and player position. Keep the level's route physically reachable. Verify: Test movement and a jump near the starting area. Check that the player lands on a nearby solid surface and that the trophy and exit are visibly identifiable. Use Restart and check that the initial player and collectible state return.

Let me build the game.

I'll write index.html with a canvas platformer.

Design: tile grid 24x15, tile size 32 → 768x480.

Level layout with platforms, trophy, exit door, fire, water, patrolling enemy.

Let me write carefully, then test in browser.

Key mechanics: gravity, AABB collision, grounded only jump, hazards, enemy patrol, trophy collect, exit needs trophy else message, win/lose states, restart button.

Let me write the level as string rows.

Legend:
- '#' solid brick
- '=' platform
- 'T' trophy
- 'E' exit door
- 'F' fire
- 'W' water
- 'G' enemy spawn
- 'P' player spawn
- '.' empty

Rows 15 tall, 24 wide. Let me design a reachable route.

Row indexes 0..14. Ground at row 14 mostly, with a water pit.

Let me draft:

```
r0:  ........................
r1:  ........................
r2:  ........................
r3:  .....#####..............
r4:  ............T...........
r5:  ..........#####....===..
r6:  .....=====..............
r7:  ..................E.....   hmm exit needs a platform
```

Let me be more deliberate. Exit door at right side on ground. Trophy high up. Enemies patrol ground. Fire hazards on ground and platforms. Water pit in middle.

Layout (24 cols x 15 rows):

row0:  "........................"
row1:  "........................"
row2:  "........................"
row3:  "..........####............"
row4: "..........####............" -> trophy on top of platform at row3? Put T at row3 col? Better: platform at rows, trophy sits above.

Simplify: use single-row platforms '=' which are solid from any side (I'll make all solid tiles fully solid).

Design:

```
row0:  ........................
row1:  ........................
row2:  .........T..............
row3:  ........#####........E..
row4:  ......................#?
```
Exit should stand on ground. Let's put exit at right on a raised platform reachable by jumps.

Plan a route: start bottom-left on ground. Jump onto crate stack, then platforms ascending to the right, reach trophy platform, then descend to exit platform on the right at mid height. Hazards: water pit in ground at cols 8-10, fire on ground col 14-15, fire on a platform. Enemy patrols ground segment left of water and on the trophy platform.

Concrete grid, 24 cols (0..23), 15 rows (0..14):

row0:  "........................"
row1:  "........................"
row2:  "........................"
row3:  ".........T.............."
row4:  ".......=====............"
row5:  "........................"
row6:  "..............====......"
row7:  "....====................"
row8:  "........................"
row9:  "......................F.."  -> exit?
Hmm.

Let me place exit at row 9-10 on a platform at right.

row9: ".....................E==" no, E occupies tile; put E on top of platform.

Let's do:
row8:  "....................E..."
row9:  "..................======="
That means the exit platform is at row9, cols 18-23, and E tile at row8 col20. Player reaches it by jumping from platform at row? Left of it, need a platform at row11-ish near cols 14-17.

Full route:
- Ground row13 (solid) with water pit cols 9-11 at row13, and fire at cols 15-16 on ground row12 (fire sits on ground, so fire tiles at row12).
- Player spawn col2 row12.
- Jump from ground onto platform row10 cols 4-7? Player can jump ~3 tiles high. Let jump height be about 3.2 tiles.

Platforms:
row10: cols 4-7 ("====")
row7: cols 9-13 ("=====") — wait trophy platform at row4 cols 7-11.
From ground (row12 feet at row13 top) jump to row10 platform (2 tiles up +) fine.
From row10 platform jump to row7 platform at cols 9-13: horizontal gap from col7 to col9 fine, 3 rows up ok.
From row7 (cols9-13) jump to row4 trophy platform cols 7-11: 3 rows up, overlapping horizontally. ok.
Then from row4 platform go right: platform row6 cols 15-18? drop down. Then row9 platform cols 17-20 leading to exit platform row9 cols 18-23? Hmm overlapping.

Let's do descending: row6 cols 14-17 "====", then row9 cols 17-23 "=======" with exit E at row8 col20. Wait row9 platform top; E tile at row8 sitting above it. From row6 platform (feet at row6 top) drop to row9 platform — easy.

Also a fire on row6 platform? Put fire at row5 col16 maybe. Let's add hazard fire at row3 col 20? Keep it simple: two fires (ground) and water pit.

Enemy: patrol ground cols 3-7 (left of water) and one patrol on row9 exit platform cols 19-23. Also maybe one on row7 platform.

Also need walls at edges? Ground row13 full plus row14? Let's make rows 13 and 14 solid ground (24 wide) with water at row13-14 cols 9-11. Water is a hazard tile (non-solid) - player falls in and dies.

Actually if water is at rows 13 and 14 cols 9-11, and rest solid, fine.

Fire: tiles at row12 (sitting on ground) cols 15,16. Player dies touching. But the route from row10 platform cols4-7 to row7 platform cols9-13 goes above the water... hmm, the player needs to cross the water pit. Ground path: from col7 walk right into water at col9. So they must jump across: cols 9,10,11 water — a 3-tile gap jump from col8 ground to col12 ground. Jump distance: with speed ~5 px/frame and jump ~0.5s airtime... Let me make jump generous: vx max 4.2 px/frame at 60fps → 252 px/s; airtime with gravity g=0.62 px/frame² and jumpVel=-11.5: airtime = 2*11.5/0.62 ≈ 37 frames → 37*4.2=155px ≈ 4.8 tiles. Good, 3-tile gap is crossable.

Also fire at cols 15-16 on ground blocks ground path to the right; player must go up via platforms instead. From ground col14 they can't easily get to row10 platform at cols4-7. Alternative: platform row10 cols 12-14? Then jump over fire from ground col14 → row10 platform col12-14 → but then how to get to row7 cols9-13? that's to the left, and back. Hmm, but the trophy is up on row4 cols7-11.

Let me restructure to a cleaner ascending path:

Ground row13/14 solid except water pit cols 16-18. Fire on ground cols 8,9.
Path: start col2. Ground walk to col7, fire at 8-9 blocks → jump onto platform row11? Let's have platforms:
- P1: row11, cols 7-9 (above the fire) → reachable by jumping from ground (2 tiles up).
- P2: row8, cols 11-14 → from P1 (3 up, right).
- P3: row5, cols 7-11 → from P2 (3 up, left) with trophy at row4 col9.
- P4: row8, cols 3-6 → from P3 go left-down? Then exit...

Better: exit on right at row9 platform cols 19-23, with E at row8 col21. From P2 (row8, cols11-14) → cross over water pit cols16-18 at ground level... water pit is 3 tiles wide, jumping from col14 ground to col19 ground = 4 tiles gap, ok but they're on P2 at row8. Add P5: row10 cols 16-18, then from P2 drop/jump to P5, then to exit platform row9? Hmm exit platform at row9 cols19-23 and P5 at row10 cols16-18: jump right from col18 up 1 to col19. Good.

So water at ground cols 15-18 (row13,14). Fire on ground cols 8,9 and fire on P2 at row7 col13 maybe (a fire on platform makes it tricky—skip). Add a second enemy patrolling P2 and one on exit platform.

Final grid, 24x15:

row0 : "........................"
row1 : "........................"
row2 : "........................"
row3 : "........................"
row4 : ".........T.............."  (trophy at col9)
row5 : "......######............"  cols6-11? need col9 solid under trophy → platform row5 cols 6-11. Hmm I said P3 row5 cols7-11. Use cols 6-11 "......######" that's cols6..11 = 6 chars → "......" + "######" = 12, then rest 12 dots. ok
row6 : "........................"
row7 : "........................"
row8 : "...........####.......E."  P2 row8 cols 11-14; E at row8 col20? E should be above exit platform row9 cols19-23 → E at row8 col20 or 21. Let's put E at col21.
  row8: cols11-14 '#'(solid platform), col21 'E' → "...........####.......E." count: 11 dots + 4 '#' = 15, then 6 dots (cols15-20) =21, then 'E' at col21 =22 chars, then 2 dots = 24. Good.
row7 for enemy on P2? enemy stands on top of P2 → row7 col12 'G'.
row7 : "............G..........."  col12.
row6 : "........................"
row9 : "...................=====" cols19-23 = 5 '='. 19 dots + 5 = 24. Enemy on exit platform: row8 col23 'G'? Let's put patrolling enemy there: row8 has E at 21 and G at 23? Fine — but careful: enemy patrols cols 19-23 and E at col21 is where player must reach. That's a challenge; maybe put enemy on row8 col23 patrolling 22-23. Hmm could be annoying. Let's put the second ground enemy instead on ground cols 3-6 and one on exit platform at row8 col19-20 patrolling. Actually spec requires at least one patrolling enemy; I'll have 3: ground left (cols 2-6), P2 top (cols 11-14), exit platform (cols 22-23). Exit at col21, enemy patrolling 22-23 — reachable safely-ish. Good.

row10: P5 row10 cols 16-18: "................===....." 16 dots + 3 + 5 = 24. ok
row11: P1 row11 cols 7-9: ".......===.............." 7 dots +3 +14=24.
row12: fire at cols 8,9 → "........FF.............." 8 dots + FF + 14 = 24. Ground enemy at row12 col 4: "....G..." conflicts with fire row. Let's place: row12 = "....G...FF............." need exactly 24. Compose: col0-3 dots (4), col4 'G', col5-7 dots (3) → 8 chars, col8 'F', col9 'F' → 10, then 14 dots = 24.
row13: ground with water cols15-18: "###############WWWW#####" → cols0-14 '#'(15), cols15-18 'W'(4), cols19-23 '#'(5) = 24.
row14: same: "###############WWWW#####".
Player spawn at row12 col2 'P'. But row12 col2 dot currently. Put P at row12 col2: row12 becomes col0,1 dots, col2 'P', col3 dot, col4 'G'...

Wait enemy at col4 patrolling ground cols 2-6 would collide with player immediately. Put ground enemy at cols 5-7 patrol? P1 is above cols 7-9. Let's make ground enemy patrol cols 5-6... too small. Alternative: patrol range cols 10-14 on ground right of the fire, before the water. That's a good spot. So ground enemy spawn row12 col12, patrol cols 10-14.

Then row12: cols0-7 dots except P at col2, FF at 8,9, dots 10,11, 'G' at 12, dots 13-23.
row12 = "..P.....FF..G..........." → count: 2+1+5=8, +2=10, +2=12, +1=13, +11=24. Let me just build strings carefully in code and validate lengths with a check.

Actually simpler: I'll define rows and run a quick node check for length 24 and reachability visually. Also I'll test in browser.

Physics: tile 32, canvas 768x480. Player w=22,h=28.

Collision: standard tile AABB resolution, separate axes.

Hazards: fire, water → death on overlap (with slight inset). Enemy → death on overlap; but maybe allow stomping? Spec says touching enemy causes loss. Keep it: any contact = death. That makes it harsher; ensure patrolling enemies don't block required path fatally... The P2 enemy at cols 11-14 row7 patrols the whole platform, so player must land on P2 and dodge/timing. Since touching = death, the player must time jumping onto P2 when enemy is away and then jump off to P3. That's playable but tough. Maybe make P2 enemy patrol cols 11-12 only, leaving cols 13-14 safe. And exit platform enemy cols 22-23.

Also give slight enemy hitbox inset for fairness.

Let me reduce enemy count on the path: enemies: ground (cols 10-14, row12) — but the player needs to pass over that area? Path: ground → P1 (row11 cols7-9) → P2 (row8 cols11-14) → P3 (row5 cols6-11, trophy) → back down to P2 → P5 (row10 cols16-18) → exit platform (row9 cols19-23). Ground enemy cols 10-14 is under P2 — not on the path necessarily. Fine, but it's near. OK.

Also water: cols 15-18 in ground rows 13-14 — the player crosses above via P5 at row10. Fine.

Fire at cols8,9 row12 — under P1. Player jumping from ground col7 to P1... P1 is at row11 cols7-9, so from ground they jump up 2 tiles onto P1 at col7. Fine, fire at cols8,9 row12 is directly below P1. Not an issue but decorative hazard. Add another fire somewhere relevant: fire on ground cols 20-21? That's on the exit platform area? No, exit platform is row9. Ground cols 20-21 row12 fire — player might land there if falling. Add fire at row7 col? Let's add fire on P2? No, keep path fair. Add fire at ground cols 3-4 row12 near start as decoration/danger. Fine.

Now write code.

Rendering: procedural — bricks with pattern, water animated, fire animated flames, trophy cup, exit door with flag, enemy as little creature with eyes and legs, player as Dave-like character (body, head, cap, legs).

HUD: score/trophy indicator, controls text, restart button, messages overlay.

States: 'play','win','dead'. Restart button always visible; also R key.

Death feedback: overlay "You died" + restart. Exit-without-trophy: floating message "The exit is locked! Find the trophy!" shown for ~1.5s.

Let me write the file.

Also add requestAnimationFrame with fixed timestep.

I'll write it now.

Key code:

```js
const TS=32, COLS=24, ROWS=15;
const LEVEL=[...];
```

Parse into tiles: solids '#','=','?' ; hazard 'F','W'; trophy 'T'; exit 'E'; player 'P'; enemy 'G'.

Enemies: store {x,y,w,h,dir,minX,maxX,speed}.

Collision function solidAt(px,py) checking tile.

Move player:
```
p.vy += G; if(p.vy>MAXFALL) ...
p.x += p.vx; resolve X; p.y += p.vy; resolve Y (set grounded when landing)
```

Enemy update: move x, reverse at bounds (and at ledge? keep simple with bounds).

Draw order: background gradient, tiles, trophy, exit, hazards animated, enemies, player, HUD, overlay.

Let me write it.

Fire draw: base + flickering flame triangles with time-based. Water: wavy top with translucent blue.

Now code the whole file.

Also handle jump buffer? Keep simple: grounded jump only, plus small coyote time maybe not required.

Write.

Layout:
- P3 trophy platform row5 cols6-11, trophy row4 col9.
- P2 row8 cols11-14.
- exit platform row9 cols19-23, E at row8 col20... wait E at col20? row8 string: "...........####.......E." → 11 dots (0-10), '####' at 11-14, then 7 dots at 15-21? Let's count: 11+4=15, then dots until 'E'. positions 15..21 = 7 dots, so E at col22, then '.' at 23. Exit platform row9 cols19-23. E at col22 sits on it. Good.

- P5 row10 cols16-18: row10 string "................===....." → 16 dots, '===' at 16-18. Good.
- P1 row11 cols7-9.
- Fire row12 cols8,9. Water rows13-14 cols15-18. Enemy row12 col12 patrolling ground cols10-14.

Route check:
Start P at row12 col2 → feet on row13 ground. Walk right to col7, jump onto P1 (row11 top at y=11*32=352; ground top at 13*32=416; height diff 64px = 2 tiles; player height 28. Jump height with v=11.5,g=0.62: 11.5²/(2*0.62)=106px ≈ 3.3 tiles. Good.
From P1 (top row11, cols7-9) to P2 (row8 cols11-14): up 3 tiles (96px) and right by ~2 cols. Jump height 106 > 96 needed plus player must clear... landing on top means feet must rise 96px. OK, tight but fine. Let me boost jump a bit: v=12, g=0.6 → 120px. Good.
From P2 (row8 top, cols11-14) to P3 (row5, cols6-11): up 3 tiles =96, leftwards overlapping at col11. Fine.
Collect trophy at row4 col9 (standing on P3 row5 col9).
Then back down to P2, then right: from P2 col14 (top row8) to P5 (row10 cols16-18): drop right, gap cols15 → jump right 2 cols while falling 2 rows. Fine.
From P5 col18 to exit platform row9 col19: up 1 tile, right 1. Fine. Then walk to E at col22.

Wait, water is at cols15-18 rows13-14 and P5 is at row10 cols16-18 above it. If player misses they fall into water → death. Fine, adds challenge. Also fire on ground cols 8-9.

Hmm, but is the ground path from col14 to col19 blocked by water cols15-18 — yes, must use P5. Good.

Enemy on P2? I'll add enemies:
1. ground: spawn col12 row12, patrol cols 10-14 (x range 10*32 to 15*32-ew).
2. P2 platform: spawn col13 row7, patrol cols 11-14 (top of row8 → y = 8*32 - eh).
   But player must traverse P2 to reach P3 and back. Patrolling whole P2 is harsh with touch=death. Let me have it patrol cols 11-12 only, leaving 13-14 free... but the jump up to P3 at col11 area. Hmm. Alternatively put enemy on P3 (row4 cols6-11) patrolling cols6-8 — trophy at col9. Then player lands on P3 right side (col10-11) and grabs trophy while enemy patrols left. That's a nice tension.
   Actually enemy on P3 requires the patrol floor be row5 cols6-11 — fine.
3. exit platform enemy: patrol cols 22-23? E is at col22 — overlapping enemy on the exit means near-impossible. Put it at row8 cols 19-21 patrolling, and E at col22. Player lands from P5 at col19 — right into the enemy. Hmm. Let's move the exit platform enemy to patrol cols 20-21, and player arrives at col19 then must dodge to col22. Timing-based; ok but risky. Alternatively put a third enemy on the ground right side cols 20-23 (row12) which isn't on the path but adds life. I'll do: enemies = ground(10-14), P3(6-8), exit platform(20-21)? Two required minimum is one; three is nice. But the exit one guarding could make winning frustrating. I'll place the third enemy on the ground at right, cols 20-23 row12 — visible, patrols below exit platform, not blocking.

So enemies:
A: ground left? Actually P at col2 and enemy at 10-14 — player passes near it to jump onto P1 at col7. It's on ground under P2. Might be dangerous when descending. Fine — make it patrol cols 10-13.
B: P3 cols 6-8.
C: ground right cols 20-22.

Good. Now write index.html.

Physics constants: TS=32, gravity 0.62/frame (at 60fps fixed step), moveSpeed 3.4, jumpVel 12.2 → height 120px. Max fall 14.

Fixed timestep accumulator at 1/60.

Player size 20x28.

Let me write it.

Rendering details:
- background: dark gradient with subtle stars/brick pattern? Dangerous Dave style: dark blue background with tile bricks.
- '#' bricks: brown/red brick with mortar lines, highlight.
- '=' platform: gray/metal slab with rivets.
- trophy: gold cup with handles, sparkles.
- exit: door frame with green "EXIT" sign and arrow; locked (red) vs unlocked (green) depending on trophy.
- fire: animated flame.
- water: animated waves.
- enemy: purple blob with eyes and feet.
- player: red cap, blue body, skin head, legs animated when walking.

HUD top bar: "TROPHY: ✗/✓", lives? Not needed. Controls text below canvas. Restart button. Message toast.

Overlay for win/death with restart button inside canvas or DOM. I'll use DOM overlay.

Write the file.

Note: I removed 'G' from level parsing but ENEMY_DEFS defines them; the LEVEL row12 still has a 'G' char at col12 which is ignored — fine, but that col12 'G' char in LEVEL means solids empty there. OK. But ENEMY_DEFS row for ground enemy is 13 (stands on row13 ground) → y = 13*32-22 = 394. Good.

Wait: the row12 enemy 'G' at col12 in the level string is now unused but harmless.

Enemy patrol maxX = (maxCol+1)*TS-26. For ground enemy minCol=10,maxCol=13 → minX=320, maxX=14*32-26=422. But water starts at col15 — fine.

Trophy platform enemy: row5, minCol6,maxCol8 → y=5*32-22=138, x from 192 to 9*32-26=262. Trophy at col9 (x=304). Good.

Ground right enemy: row13, cols20-22 → y=394, x from 640 to 23*32-26=710. Fine.

Now test in browser.

The rendering looks good. Issues I can identify:

1. The trophy platform (row 5) is drawn as brick `######` — wait, I had set row 5 to "######" → brick. In the screenshot, the trophy platform is brick, P2 (row 8) is also brick, P1 (row 11) is a slab, P5 (row 10) is a slab, and the exit platform (row 9) is a slab. No problem.

2. The trophy platform enemy is visible on the left. The trophy is also visible. The exit door with the EXIT sign is also visible. The fire is also visible (two flames). The water is also visible. The ground enemies are also visible.

3. Player is at the starting position.

Wait — the trophy platform enemy patrols columns 6-8, and the trophy is at column 9. In the screenshot, the enemy is around column 6-7. Good.

Next, test movement/jump. Use browser key operations. The canvas might not have focus; key events are on window so no problem.

Test: hold right to move, jump near the starting area, confirm landing on the ground. Then test restart.

Also, verify that the jump reaches P1 (row 11, columns 7-9) from the ground: ground top edge y=416, P1 top edge y=352 → 64px difference; jump height = JUMPV^2/(2*GRAV) = 12.3^2/(2*0.62) = 151.29/1.24 = 122px. OK.

From P1 top edge (352) to P2 top edge (row 8 → 256): 96px difference < 122 OK.
From P2 (256) to P3 (row 5 → 160): 96 OK.

Horizontal: P1 columns 7-9 right edge x=320; P2 columns 11-14 left edge x=352. Gap 32px, rise 96px. Jumping from P1 right edge: airtime to rise 96px and then land on top... at apex 122px. Horizontal distance during ascent to 96px: solve 12.3t - 0.31t² = 96 → t ≈ ? 0.31t² -12.3t +96=0 → t=(12.3±sqrt(151.29-119.04))/0.62=(12.3±5.68)/0.62 → t1=10.7 frames (on the way up). Horizontal 3.3*10.7=35px. So from P1 right edge, reach P2 top height 35px later — P2 left edge is 32px away. Tight but possible; player can also jump from the rightmost tile of P1 (column 9, x 288-320). Player right edge at 320; P2 left edge at 352. At apex (t=19.8 frames, height 122), horizontal 65px → x reaches 385, above P2 (352-480). Then fall onto P2. Feasible.

From P2 right edge (column 14, x=480) to P5 (columns 16-18, x=512-608, top edge row 10=320): P2 top edge 256, drop 64 to 320, gap 32px. Easy jump/fall.

From P5 right edge (608) to exit platform (column 19, x=608, top edge row 9=288): rise 32, adjacent. Easy.

Then walk right on the exit platform to the exit at column 22 (x=704). Platform is columns 19-23 → up to x=768. Good.

Descent from P3: no problem.

One concern: trophy platform enemy patrols columns 6-8 (x 192-262+26). Trophy is at column 9 (x 288-320). Player lands on P3 from P2 (columns 11-14) by jumping up-left onto columns 10-11 (x 320-384). Enemy max x = 262 → enemy right edge 288. Trophy zone x 291-317. So the player can stand at columns 9-11 and grab the trophy without touching the enemy. Good.

Ground enemy patrols columns 10-13 (x 320-448). Player jumps from ground column 7 area onto P1... ground below columns 10-13 has the enemy; player's ground path is columns 0-9 with fire at columns 8-9. Player jumps over fire from column 7? Fire is at columns 8,9 (x 256-320). P1 is above at row 11 columns 7-9. Player jumps from column 6/7 to P1. No problem, enemy is to the right of the fire.

But wait: when descending from P1 to the right toward P2... no problem.

Water columns 15-18: if player falls in → death. Good.

Now, exit collision box: eb = {x:exitPos.x+4, y:exitPos.y-4, w:24, h:36} → x 708-732, y 252-288+... exitPos.y = 8*32=256; eb y=252, h=36 → 252-288. Player standing on exit platform (top edge 288) has feet at 288, body y=260-288. Overlap yes.

Trophy box: trophy.y = 4*32+16=144; tb y=130-158. Player standing on P3 top edge 160: body y=132-160. Overlap with 130-158 yes. Good.

Also, trophy drawn with bob ±3 — collision is static, no problem.

Now, test in browser: movement + jump.

Sequence:
1. key down ArrowRight for a while, screenshot.
2. Space to jump, screenshot mid-air, then confirm landing.
3. Read window.__game via console? Browser tool has no evaluate. Can I use inspect? The browser tool actions: reload, inspect, screenshot, motion, click, drag, key, type, scroll. "inspect" probably returns DOM/console. Hmm, evaluate not available. Can check state via screenshots and HUD (death count, trophy state).

For deeper checks (win/lose paths), can I simulate with node? No DOM. Alternative: add temporary query-parameter-driven autoplay? Simpler: use browser key events to actually play through the level with scripted key sequences. That's doable: hold right, jump at the right timing... but timing via tool calls is coarse (each call is one event). The key action probably dispatches keydown/keyup. Movement needs sustained hold across frames — keydown then wait, then keyup. Each tool call has latency; the game runs in real time. Hard to control precisely, but roughly possible.

Better approach: expose a debug hook: window.__game gives state; but can't evaluate JS via tool... actually "inspect" might return console output? Let me check what inspect does: "Run index.html, inspect DOM/console, interact, view screenshots or motion frames." inspect probably returns DOM snapshot + console. Not arbitrary JS.

Alternative: I can add a small self-test that runs only when location.hash === '#test' and logs results to console; then inspect to read console. This is a clean approach: automated playthrough via simulated input (set keys directly) with fast-forward. But keys are internal... I can expose a debug API: window.__dbg = {setKey, step, state}. Then the #test harness drives it. But the harness still needs JS evaluation.

Hmm — maybe I can inject via console? Not available.

Option: use the "type" action? Types text into a focused element — dispatches key events. Not useful for evaluation.

OK, alternative: write the test harness as part of the page when hash=#selftest: run a headless simulation using the same physics functions (already in page scope), simulate input sequence to complete the level, log results to console, render nothing extra. Then browser reload with hash? The browser tool loads index.html — can I control the URL? Probably fixed. Hmm, reload might not accept a URL parameter.

Simplest robust check: play manually with key events and screenshots. Coarse but representative:
- Verify movement: hold right ~0.5s → screenshot shows player moved right.
- Jump: press space → mid-air screenshot; then land.
- Verify landing on P1: hold right until under P1? P1 is columns 7-9 above the fire... jumping from ground at column 7 lands on P1 top edge? P1 top edge y=352; ground 416; jump 122 → reaches 294 < 352 so can land on P1.

For win/lose verification, manual play is error-prone. Instead, add a hidden self-test mode triggered by key combo? E.g., press "T" runs an automated bot that plays the level with scripted inputs (using the same update loop), logs to console, shows result in HUD. That's extra code but lets me verify reachability programmatically. Actually simpler: implement a bot inside the page that computes input each frame toward waypoints (simple: predefined input timeline). If the bot wins, the route is physically reachable. Trigger: press "B" (bot) — or run automatically when hash contains 'bot'.

I think it's worth it: implement `runBot()` that overrides keys each frame with a waypoint-following controller: list of waypoints (tile coords); bot moves toward next waypoint: if waypoint above and grounded → jump; horizontal move toward waypoint x. Simple and generic. On reaching exit with trophy → win. Log console messages at milestones. Then I can trigger via console... still can't evaluate.

Trigger via key: press KeyB → start bot. I can send key "b" via browser key action. Then screenshot + inspect console to see milestones.

Let me implement bot:

```
const WAYPOINTS = [ [3,12],[6,12],[8,11],[10,8],[13,8],[10,5],[9,5], // trophy
 [13,8],[17,10],[19,9],[22,9] ];
```
Bot controller each update (before movePlayer? Instead of input): set keys.left/right/jump.

Logic: target = waypoints[i] (tile center). dx = tx - playerCenterX. If |dx| > 6 → press direction. Jump condition: if grounded and (target row < player row - 0.5, or there's a wall ahead, or need to cross a gap): simpler: if grounded and targetRow <= playerRow-1 → jump. Also if grounded and about to walk into a hazard? Keep waypoints safe.

Reaching waypoint: |dx|<8 and |dy|<8 (dy = ty - playerCenterY) → advance i.

Waypoint rows: use tile row where player's feet should be. Player center y = y+14; feet row r means feet at r*32 → center = r*32-14.

Waypoints (col, feetRow):
1. (3,13) start area ground
2. (6,13) ground before fire
3. (8,11) on P1 (columns 7-9 top edge row 11)
4. (12,8) on P2
5. (10,5) on P3 near trophy (trophy column 9) → collect trophy at (9,5)
6. (13,8) back on P2
7. (17,10) on P5
8. (20,9) on exit platform
9. (22,9) exit

Jump logic: if grounded and targetFeetRow < currentFeetRow → jump (also require |dx| < some value? e.g., jump when horizontally close or moving toward). Also need jump to cross from P2 (row 8) to P3 (row 5): target row 5 < 8 → jump while moving left. OK.

Gap crossing: (6,13)→(8,11): target above → jump when dx small? Player at column 6 center 208; target column 8 center 272. dx=64. Jump from ground at column 6-7 while moving right: apex 122 → can reach P1 top edge (64 above). Horizontal travel during rise to 64px height: 0.31t²-12.3t+64=0 → t=(12.3±sqrt(151.29-79.36))/0.62=(12.3±8.48)/0.62 → t1=6.2 frames → x=20px. Hmm, at that point player is at 228, still left of P1 left edge (224)? P1 columns 7-9 → x 224-320. Player left edge... player x center 208+20=228 >224 OK, above P1. Then continue rising and fall onto P1. Good: jump when grounded and target above and dx>0 moving toward it. Just jump as soon as grounded and targetRow<feetRow and |dx|<80.

(12,8)→(10,5): dx=-64, jump while moving left. From P2 top edge 256, need rise 96 to 160. At apex 122 OK. Horizontal during rise to 96: t1=10.7 → 35px left → center 384-35=349... P3 columns 6-11 → x 192-384. 349 is within range. Good.

(9,5)→(13,8): target below → walk off edge? P3 right edge at column 11 (x 384). Player at column 9 center 304; move right to 384 then fall to P2 (top edge 256? wait P2 row 8 top edge y=256, P3 row 5 top edge 160; P2 is below P3). Fall from P3 right edge onto P2 (columns 11-14 x 352-480). Yes, walk right and fall. Target (13,8): feet row 8. Bot: if target below, just walk toward it; gravity handles. But walking right from column 9 on P3... passes over column 11 edge and falls onto P2 at column ~12. Good.

(13,8)→(17,10): walk right off P2 edge (column 14, x 480), fall/jump to P5 (columns 16-18, x 512-608, top edge 320). From P2 top edge 256 to 320: fall 64. Horizontal gap 480→512=32. Walking off edge with vx 3.3: fall 64px takes t: 0.31t²=64 → t=14.4 frames → 47px → reaches 527 > 512. Lands on P5. Good. Or small jump. Bot: target below → walk.

(17,10)→(20,9): target 1 row above → jump when close: from P5 top edge 320 to exit platform top edge 288: rise 32, gap from column 18 right edge 608 to column 19 608: adjacent. Jump while moving right. Good.

(20,9)→(22,9): walk right to exit. Exit box at column 22. Win.

Enemy avoidance: bot may collide with enemies (ground enemy columns 10-13 row 13 — bot is on ground only at columns 3,6 on left; P2 enemy? None on P2 (moved to P3 columns 6-8). P3 enemy patrols columns 6-8 x 192-288; bot lands on P3 at column 10-11 (x 320-384) then moves left to column 9 (center 304, player x 294-314). Enemy max x 262 → right edge 288. Player left edge 294 > 288 safe. Then back right. OK.

Exit platform: no enemy. Ground right enemy columns 20-22 row 13 — bot never on ground right. Good.

So bot should win. Also bot death test: walk into fire → death overlay. And exit without trophy → toast. These can be tested with manual key events quickly: hold right from start... fire at columns 8-9 blocks; walking right into fire → death. That verifies lose state + restart.

And exit-without-trophy toast: hard manually. Trust the code path? Maybe test with bot variant: bot stops before trophy? Skip — the code is simple. Actually can test: send bot to exit without trophy via waypoints? Add second bot mode? Keep scope: manually verify toast by playing? Hmm.

Alternative: make bot waypoints reachable via key 'B', and 'N' runs "no-trophy exit bot" that goes ground→...→exit without trophy? Route to exit without trophy is same route minus trophy stop; then at exit toast appears and level continues. That verifies locked-exit feedback. Then press B? State still play; bot continues? Simpler: N bot goes to exit, shows toast; then user presses B? Hmm, bot mode is single sequence.

Let me implement bot with a flag: botRoute = 'full' | 'notrophy'. Key B = full, N = notrophy (skip trophy waypoint; at exit expect toast and remain in play; then bot stops).

Console logs: "BOT: reached waypoint i", "BOT: WIN", "BOT: toast: ...". Then read console via inspect.

Also verify restart: click Restart button → player back at spawn, trophy reset. Screenshot + HUD.

Let me add bot code.

Bot implementation detail: override input each frame before movePlayer: if G.bot active, compute keys.left/right/jump then call movePlayer. Jump buffering: set keys.jump=true for one frame; movePlayer consumes it (sets keys.jump=false after jump). Good.

Bot update inside update(): if(G.bot) botThink(G.player).

botThink:
```
const wp = BOT_WP[G.botI];
if(!wp){ G.bot=false; return; }
const pcx=p.x+p.w/2, pcy=p.y+p.h; // feet y
const tx=wp[0]*TS+TS/2, ty=wp[1]*TS; // feet target
const dx=tx-pcx, dy=ty-pcy;
keys.left = dx<-6; keys.right = dx>6;
const feetRow=Math.round(pcy/TS);
keys.jump=false;
if(p.grounded && wp[1] < feetRow-0.2 && Math.abs(dx)<90) keys.jump=true;
// also hop over small step? not needed
if(Math.abs(dx)<10 && Math.abs(dy)<10){ G.botI++; console.log('BOT wp '+G.botI); }
```
dy when standing: pcy = feet y = row*32 exactly (minus 0.01) → dy≈0.

For (8,11): after landing on P1, feet=352=11*32 ✓.

Edge: waypoint (6,13) then (8,11): feetRow 13, wp row 11 < 12.8 → jump when |dx|<90 → dx=64 → jump immediately at column 6? Player might be at column 3 after wp1... sequence: reach (3,13), then target (6,13): walk right; when |dx|<90 and grounded and target above → but target row equals feetRow during walking (13 vs 13) → no jump until wp becomes (8,11). At wp (8,11), player around column 6 center 208: dx=272-208=64 <90 → jump. Rise: at t where height≥64+? need feet to reach 352 from 416: rise 64. t1=6.2 frames, x travel 20 → center 228; player x=218..238 overlaps P1 (224-320) → but at that moment still rising above 352? Height at t=6.2 is exactly 64 → feet at 352 = P1 top; then continues rising above P1 top, then falls onto P1. But horizontal: at t=6.2 center 228 → within P1 x range. Then apex and fall, land on P1 top. ✓. But careful: while rising, does player's head hit P1 underside? Player jumps at center 208 (x 198-218), left of P1 (224). Rising vertically at x~198-218 plus rightward drift. At height 64 (t 6.2) x=218-238: partially under P1? P1 starts at 224. Player right edge 238 > 224 → collision with P1 bottom while rising? Player top at that moment: feet 352, head 324; P1 occupies y 352-364 (row 11). Player body 324-352 → above P1 top? No: P1 top y=352. Player feet exactly 352 → touching top. Before that, feet below 352 and x overlapping 224+ → head/upper body collides with P1 side/bottom → X resolution pushes player left. Hmm: while rising with feet between 352 and 416 and x overlapping column 7 (224-256), player's head (feet-28) is between 324-388 → overlaps row 11 (352-384) → solid → X collision stops rightward movement (vx zeroed, pushed left). That ruins the jump.

Fix: jump later — only jump when |dx| < 40? At column 7 center 240 (x 230-250, above P1 column 7) jumping straight up: rise 122 → feet 294, then fall onto P1 top 352. ✓ No side collision since vertically aligned. So condition: jump when grounded, target above, and |dx|<40. But then to go from (6,13) to (8,11): walk to column 8 first? Column 8 ground is fire (column 8,9)! Walking on ground to column 8 center 272 → fire hitbox column 8 row 12 → death.

Rework waypoints: (6,13) → jump straight up? No, P1 is columns 7-9; from column 6 jump diagonally... side collision issue again.

Better: shift P1 to columns 6-8? Then fire columns 8-9 below P1 right part... player jumps from column 5/6 ground. P1 columns 6-8 (x 192-288). Jump from column 6 center 208 vertically: lands on P1. ✓ Then from P1 (top 352) to P2 columns 11-14 (top 256): dx from column 8 center 272 to column 12 center 400 = 128. Jump when |dx|<40 → walk right to column ~11? But column 9-10 on P1? P1 ends at column 8 (x 288). Walking right past 288 falls to ground column 9 = fire. Hmm.

Alternative jump condition: jump when grounded and target above and (|dx|<40 OR (moving toward target and edge ahead)). Complex.

Simpler: allow diagonal jump but avoid side collision by jumping from a position where horizontal path to target doesn't pass under platform... For P1: approach from left at ground; P1 bottom is row 11; player height 28 < 32 so while standing on ground (rows 12-12: head at 416-28=388 → row 12) no overlap with row 11. While rising, body enters row 11 space. If x overlaps P1 columns during rise below top → bonk.

Standard platformers handle this: player jumps next to platform edge and drifts. Bonk only if overlapping horizontally during rise. To land on P1 from left: jump at x where player right edge < 224 until feet above 352, then drift right. Rise to 64px takes 6.2 frames; drift 3.3/frame → 20px. So jump at right edge ≤ 204 → x ≤ 184 (center 194, column ~6.06). Then at t=6.2 right edge=224 touches P1 left; feet=352 top level; continue rising above; then drift right onto P1; fall lands. ✓ So jump when dx (to target center 272) = 272-194=78. Condition |dx|<90 with additional check: only jump if no solid collision will occur... too complex.

Pragmatic: give bot explicit "jump now" waypoints: waypoint entries with flag j: jump when |dx|<jdist. Define per-waypoint jumpDx:
- wp (8,11): jumpDx 80 (jump early from left).
- wp (12,8): from P1 right side: P1 columns 6-8? wait I changed P1 to 7-9 earlier. Keep P1 columns 7-9 (x 224-320) as original. Jump to P1 from ground column 6: jumpDx 80 as computed (jump at center ~194-208).
   Landing on P1 top. Then wp (12,8): from P1, walk right to column 9 edge (x 320), then jump to P2 (columns 11-14, top 256, rise 96 from 352). Jump at P1 right edge: center ~310 (x 300-320); rise: bonk P2 underside? P2 columns 11-14 x 352-480; player right edge 320 < 352 until drift. Rise to 96 takes t=10.7 frames → drift 35 → right edge 355 ≥352 at feet=256 exactly P2 top → then above. Marginal bonk: at t slightly less than 10.7, feet slightly below 256 and right edge just past 352 → bonk P2 left side? P2 row 8 y 256-288; player feet at t=10: height=12.3*10-0.31*100=92 → feet=352-92=260 → body 232-260 overlaps row 8 (256-288)? Body bottom 260 >256 yes overlaps; right edge at t=10: 320+33=353 >352 → bonk! Pushed left, fall back to P1. Retry loop → bot stuck oscillating.

   Fix: jump from further left on P1 so drift clears? Need right edge ≥352 only when feet ≤256. Feet=256 at t=10.7 (rise 96). Right edge at t = x0+20+3.3t. Need x0+20+3.3*10.7 ≤352 → x0 ≤ 296.7 → center ≤306 (column 9.5)? But P1 ends at column 9 (x 320): center 306 is on P1 ✓ (x 296-316). And before t=10.7 right edge <352 ✓ no bonk; at t=10.7 feet=256, right edge=352 → then above P2 top, drift right, fall onto P2. ✓ Also need left edge over P2 eventually: at apex t=19.8, x center=306+65=371 → over P2 (352-480) ✓.
   So wp (12,8) jumpDx: from center 306 to target center 400: dx=94 → jump when |dx|<95? But walking right on P1 from landing point (~column 7-8) toward column 9: |dx| decreases from ~130; when <95 → jump at center ~305. ✓ Set jumpDx 95.

- wp (10,5): from P2 walk left to column 11 (center 368)? P3 columns 6-11 x 192-384 top 160; rise from 256 =96. Jump at center where left edge clears P3 right edge (384) until feet ≤160: left edge = x0-10... player x0 center; left edge=x0-10. Drift left 3.3/frame. Need left edge ≥384 until t=10.7 → x0-10-3.3*10.7 ≥384 → x0 ≥ 429 → but P2 columns 11-14 x 352-480, center 429 = column 13.4 ✓ on P2. Then at t=10.7 left edge=384, feet=160 → above P3 top; drift left onto P3. At apex center=429-65=364 → over P3 (192-384) ✓ lands around column 11. Then walk left to column 9 for trophy. wp (10,5) jumpDx: target center 336; dx=429-336=93 → jump when |dx|<95... but while walking left on P2 from column 12-13, dx from 400-336=64 already <95 → jump at center ~400 (column 12.5): left edge 390; at t=10.7 left edge=390-35=355 <384 → bonk P3 right side? P3 row 5 y 160-192; player feet at t=10: 260 → body 232-260; row 5 is 160-192 → no overlap! Body top 232 > 192 → below P3. Bonk only when body overlaps row 5: feet-28 <192 → feet<220 → height>36 → t>3.1... wait feet=256-height; body top=228-height; overlap row 5 (160-192) when 228-height <192 → height>36 → t≈3.2. At t=3.2 left edge=390-10.6=379 <384 → bonk P3 right side (column 12 x 384-416 is row 5 solid? P3 columns 6-11 → column 11 right edge 384; column 12 row 5 empty). P3 spans columns 6-11 → x 192-384. Player left edge 379 <384 → overlaps column 11 (352-384)? Left edge 379 is within column 11 → yes bonk.
   So need jumpDx smaller for this wp: jump at center 429 → dx=93. Walking left, |dx| passes 93 at center 429. Set jumpDx=94 → triggers at center ~430. ✓ (must not trigger earlier: at column 12.9 center 413+? dx=77 <94 already triggers when dx first <94, i.e., center=430). Walking left from column 13 (432): dx=96 → not; column 12.9: 93.7 <94 → jump. ✓

- wp (13,8) return: from P3 walk right off edge (column 11, x 384) fall to P2 (top 256). Target center 432. Walk right; fall; land on P2 column ~12-13. jumpDx 0 (target below).
- wp (17,10): walk right off P2 edge column 14 (480) fall to P5 top 320 (columns 16-18 x 512-608). From 256 fall 64: t=14.4 frames drift 47 → from 480 → 527 ✓ lands on P5. Target center 560. Walk right until |dx|<10 → center 560 column 17.5 ✓ on P5.
- wp (20,9): jump rise 32 from 320; gap none (P5 column 18 right edge 608 = exit platform column 19 left edge 608). Jump at center ~590? dx to 656 = 66. jumpDx 70: jump at center 586 (x 576-596 on P5 ✓). Rise 32 takes t: 0.31t²-12.3t+32=0 → t=(12.3-sqrt(151.29-39.68))/0.62=(12.3-10.56)/0.62=2.8 frames; drift 9 → right edge 605 <608 hmm at feet=288 need right edge ≥608: feet=288 at t=2.8 (rise 32) right edge=596+9=605 <608 → bonk exit platform side? Exit platform row 9 y 288-300; player feet at t=2.8 exactly 288; before that feet>288 and right edge<608 → no overlap with column 19 (608-640)? Right edge 605 <608 ✓ no bonk; after t=2.8 feet<288 above platform top, drift right onto it ✓. At apex center=586+65=651 → column 20.3 ✓.
- wp (22,9): walk right to exit column 22 center 720. Win.

Trophy pickup at column 9: wp (9,5) before (13,8): after landing on P3 ~column 11, walk left to column 9 center 304: trophy box x 291-317 ✓ pickup. Enemy on P3 patrols columns 6-8 max right edge 288; player at 294-314 safe ✓.

Also initial wp (3,13): spawn column 2 center 80; target column 3 center 112 walk.
wp (6,13): walk to center 208. Then wp (8,11) jumpDx 80: at center 208 dx=64 <80 → jump immediately ✓ (as computed jump at ~194-208 works: right edge 218 at t=6.2 +20=238? wait recompute: jump at center 208 (x 198-218). At t=6.2 (feet 352) center=208+20=228 → x 218-238; P1 columns 7-9 x 224-320: overlap column 7 (224-256) by 14px while feet=352 exactly top → body above? At t=6.2 feet=352 → body 324-352; P1 row 11 y 352-384 → body bottom 352 touches top, no overlap (body is above). Just before t=6.2 feet>352 body lower e.g. feet 360 body 332-360 overlaps row 11 (352-384)? Yes 352-360 overlap; x 218-238 overlaps column 7 at 224-238 → bonk side! Pushed left. Damn.
   Need jump earlier: at t=6.2 right edge ≤224 → x0+20+20.5 ≤224 → x0 ≤183.5 → center ≤193.5 (column 6.05). Spawn walk: wp (6,13) target center 208 stops at |dx|<10 → center ~204-212. Too far right. Change wp2 to (5,13) center 176; then wp (8,11) jumpDx 96: dx=272-176=96 → not <96; walk right; at center 177 dx=95 <96 → jump at 177 (x 167-187): at t=6.2 right edge=187+20.5=207.5 <224 ✓; feet=352; continue rising; drift; at apex center=177+65=242 → over P1 ✓; fall: feet descend from 294; when feet=352 again at t=39.6-6.2? symmetric t=33.4 center=177+110=287 → x 277-297 over P1 (224-320) ✓ land on P1 top. But during descent between t=6.2 and landing, x passes 224 at t=(224-20-167)/3.3? right edge reaches 224 at t=(224-187)/3.3=11.2 → feet height at t=11.2: 12.3*11.2-0.31*125=137.8-38.9=98.9 → feet=416-98.9=317 <352 above P1 top ✓ no bonk. ✓

So waypoints: (3,13),(5,13),(8,11,j80→96?),... let me finalize with jumpDx per wp:
1 (3,13) jd0
2 (5,13) jd0
3 (8,11) jd96
4 (12,8) jd95
5 (10,5) jd94
6 (9,5) jd0   (trophy)
7 (13,8) jd0
8 (17,10) jd0
9 (20,9) jd70
10 (22,9) jd0

Check wp4 jump from P1: landing center ~287 (column 8.97). Walk right? Target (12,8) center 400; dx=113 → walk right to center 305 (dx=95) jump ✓ (x 295-315 on P1 columns 7-9? column 9 x 288-320 ✓).
Computed bonk-free ✓.

wp5: land on P2 center ~371 (column 11.6). Target (10,5) center 336: dx=-35 → |dx|<94 → jump immediately at 371 (x 361-381): left edge 361; need left edge ≥384 until feet ≤160?? No wait direction: jumping left toward P3 which is upper-left. P3 right edge 384. Player left edge 361 <384 already at jump start, but feet=256 (P2 top) body 228-256; P3 row 5 y 160-192 → no overlap initially. While rising: body top=228-height <192 when height>36 (t>3.2): left edge at t=3.2 = 361-10.6=350 <384 → overlaps column 11 (352-384)? Left edge 350 <352? 350 <352 → overlaps column 10? Column 10 row 5: P3 columns 6-11 includes column 10 (320-352): left edge 350 in column 10 → bonk P3 underside/side while rising! Because P3 extends over P2 left part (columns 6-11 vs P2 columns 11-14 overlap at column 11). Vertical gap between P3 bottom (192) and P2 top (256) = 64 > player height 28 ✓ can stand between. But jumping straight up at column 11.x bonks P3 above (column 11 is solid in row 5). Need to jump from column 12+ (x≥384 left edge → center ≥394). Target center 336 → dx=-58 at center 394. So jd for wp5 = 60: walk left from 371? Already left of 394. Hmm, landing was 371. Need to first walk right to 394 then jump left. Bot logic: if jd>0 and |dx|<jd → jump; else walk toward target. At 371, |dx|=35 <60 → jump → bonk.
   Change wp5 approach: insert wp (13,8) first? That's same as P2 landing... Let me insert wp (12.5?) use col 13 (center 432) then wp (10,5) jd 40: at 432 dx=-96 walk left; at center 376 dx=-40 <40 → jump at 376?? left edge 366 <384 bonk again (column 11 352-384: 366 inside). Need jump at center ≥394 → dx=-58 → jd=59: triggers when |dx|<59 → center 395 (x 385-405; left edge 385 ≥384 ✓). Rise: left edge drifts left: at t where body top<192 (t=3.2): left edge=385-10.6=374 <384 → bonk column 11 row 5?? Body top at t=3.2 = 228-36=192 exactly touching P3 bottom; just after, top<192 overlaps row 5; left edge 374 → in column 11 (352-384) → bonk underside → vy=0 fall. Fail.

   Hmm, vertical corridor: to rise from P2 to above P3 need x fully clear of P3 columns until feet ≤160, i.e., left edge ≥384 until t=10.7 → jump center ≥ 384+10+35=429 (column 13.4). Then drift left onto P3. So jump at center ~430-440. dx to 336 = ~100. jd=100 but walking left from 432 (column 13) dx=96 <100 triggers immediately at 432: left edge 422 ≥384 ✓; at t=10.7 left edge=422-35=387 ≥384 ✓; feet=160; then drift left over P3; apex center=432-65=367 column 11.4 ✓ lands on P3 column 11. ✓ So wp order: after landing on P2 (~371), wp (13,8) walk right to 432; then wp (10,5) jd 100 → jump at 432 (dx=96<100 immediate) ✓.

   Then wp (9,5): walk left on P3 to 304 ✓ (enemy max right edge 288, player left 294 safe).
   Then wp (13,8): walk right off P3 edge column 11 (384) fall to P2 top 256: from 160 fall 96: t=17.6 drift 58 → from 384 → 442 center? Player walks right from 304; leaves P3 at x left edge 384 → center 394; falls; drifts to 394+58=452 center → column 14.1 on P2 (352-480) ✓ lands.
   Then wp (17,10): walk right off P2 at 480 (center 490) fall 64 t=14.4 drift 47 → 537 center column 16.8 on P5 (512-608) ✓; continue to 560.
   Then wp (20,9) jd70: at 560 dx=96 walk right; at 590 dx=66 <70 jump ✓ (computed).
   Then wp (22,9): walk to 720 → exit overlap → win.

Ground enemy (columns 10-13 row 13, x 320-448 y 394-416): bot on ground only at columns 3-6 (x ~80-200) safe ✓.
P3 enemy columns 6-8: during wp (9,5) player at 294-314; enemy patrols 192-288 ✓ safe. When bot falls onto P3 at column 11 (x 352-384...) safe.
Ground right enemy columns 20-22 row 13: bot never there ✓.

notrophy bot: same waypoints minus (9,5): [ (3,13),(5,13),(8,11,96),(12,8,95),(13,8,0),(10,5,100),(13,8,0),(17,10,0),(20,9,70),(22,9,0) ] — at exit, toast shows, state remains play, bot ends (botI past end → bot off). Good.

full bot waypoints: [ (3,13,0),(5,13,0),(8,11,96),(12,8,95),(13,8,0),(10,5,100),(9,5,0),(13,8,0),(17,10,0),(20,9,70),(22,9,0) ].

Wait wp4 (12,8) jd95 then wp5 (13,8): after landing on P2 ~371, wp4 done when |dx|<10 & |dy|<10 → need to reach 400 first: walk right to 400 (dx 0) → wp4 complete; then wp5 (13,8) walk right to 432 ✓; then wp6 (10,5) jd100 jump at 432 ✓.

But wp4 jump: at P1 center 305 jump jd95 (dx=95? |dx|<95 → at 306 dx=94 jump ✓). Land on P2 ~371 → then walk to 400 ✓.

dy check: standing feet = row*32 - 0.01 → dy = wp row*32 - feet ≈ 0.01 ✓ <10.

During jump, wp not complete until landing ✓.

One more: wp3 (8,11) jd96: at center 177 jump; land on P1 ~287; |dx| to 272 =15 >10 → walk left to 272? P1 columns 7-9 x 224-320; 272 center column 8.5 ✓; then wp4.

Also ensure bot doesn't trigger jump when target below (jd only applies when target above): condition wp row < feetRow-0.2.

feetRow = Math.round(pcy/TS) where pcy=p.y+p.h. Standing on row r top: pcy = r*32-0.01 → round → r ✓.

Implement bot in update before movePlayer:
```
if(G.bot){ botThink(p); }
```
botThink sets keys.left/right/jump. After win/death, bot off.

Log milestones: console.log("[bot] wp", i) and on win "[bot] WIN". Toast also logged? For notrophy, check G.msgT>0 → console.log("[bot] locked toast:", G.msg) once.

Keys B / N start bot (also restart first). Add to controls? Hidden debug; mention in console only. Fine — but "display controls" requirement already met with movement controls.

Also human jump consumption: movePlayer sets keys.jump=false after jump ✓ bot sets each frame.

Edge: bot jump key held true only one frame; movePlayer consumes when grounded ✓.

Let me add code. Also fix: KEYMAP KeyB/KeyN.

Then test: reload, press b, wait, screenshot, inspect console.

Timing: bot run ~ (waypoints) maybe 8-12 seconds real time. Browser tool: after key press, take screenshot a few seconds later? Each tool call latency unknown. Use motion? Just do: key b → screenshot → screenshot → inspect (console). Maybe add temporary speed? No.

Let me implement.

The level is rendering correctly. Next, I'll add a hidden self-test bot (triggered by the B / N keys) that plays through the level using the actual physics engine, so I can verify that the route is reachable and that the win/lock states work.

The bot completed the full route: collected the trophy, reached the exit, victory overlay displayed, HUD shows TROPHY: YES. Route is physically reachable.

Next quick checks:
1. Locked exit feedback (no-trophy bot) — press N and inspect the console for "locked-exit feedback shown" and that the state remains play.
2. Death state: bot? Quick manual: after restart, hold right to walk into the fire. Or more simply: trust it? Better to verify: press N (no-trophy bot goes to exit, toast displayed, level continues). Then for death: manual key operation — hold ArrowRight from spawn: player walks right, fire is at columns 8-9 → walks into fire → death. Player spawns at column 2; walks right; fire hitbox is columns 8,9, row 12. Player walks into it → dies. This also verifies movement. Then restart with R and confirm reset (deaths counter persists but player position/trophy reset).

Remaining time is about 4 minutes. Execute: press n, wait, inspect. Then hold ArrowRight (keydown), screenshot, inspect for death, then press r and screenshot for reset confirmation.

Browser key action: does "key" send keydown+keyup? Probably a tap. For holding, might need keydown without keyup — unclear. If key taps only, movement won't accumulate. Hmm. The earlier bot test avoided the hold problem. For the death test, walking into the fire requires about 2 seconds of holding right. If key action is tap-only, player moves only slightly.

Alternative: use the bot for death too? Add a third bot route "die": walk right into the fire. But that requires a code edit + reload (about 1 minute). Simpler: reuse bot2? No, that's the no-trophy route.

Actually, the key action might hold until the next key? Unclear. Let me try: send key "ArrowRight" and immediately screenshot; check if the player moved. If the key tool dispatches keydown and keyup, a single tap ≈ brief movement.

Given the time, priorities: verifying the locked exit (N bot) is a required behavior ("reaching the exit without it gives visible feedback and keeps the level active"). The death state is also required. Both can be verified with bot routes: add KeyM bot route "die": waypoints [(8,12,0)] walk right into the fire → death. But code edit + reload costs one cycle; still fine (about 3.5 minutes left). Actually, can the death route reuse the existing one? The no-trophy bot ends at the exit in play state; then the level is still active; then pressing B? B restarts. Hmm.

Minimal edit: add KeyM:"bot3" and BOT_WP_DIE = [[8,12,0],[9,12,0]] → walks into fire at columns 8-9 → death by fire. Wait, fire tiles are row 12, columns 8,9; player walking on ground row 13? Feet row 13; body rows 12-12 (y 388-416 overlaps row 12 384-416) → hazard check overlaps fire tile at column 8 → death ✓. Waypoint (8,12): target feet ty=12*32=384 but standing feet=416 → dy=32 never <10 → bot keeps walking right toward tx=272... passes through fire and dies before arrival ✓.

And the locked exit is already covered by N.

One edit, reload, press n → inspect; press m → inspect; then done, final report. About 2 tool cycles + final. Tight but OK. Actually, can I press n and m in sequence without a reload in between? M restarts with the die route. Sequence: reload → key n → inspect (confirm locked toast log + state play) → key m → inspect (confirm DEATH log + overlay). Then final save is already done (file saved). Report.

Doing the edit now.

The full route wins in 5.2 seconds — reachability, trophies, and the victory state have all been verified. Next, I'll add one more debug route to verify the death state, and after that check the feedback for the locked exit.

Restart behavior confirmed: player returns to spawn point (left side of ground), trophy reappears on the platform, enemies return to initial positions, overlay is hidden, TIME is reset to 0.0, trophy state is NO (death count is intentionally preserved as a session statistic).

All verified. File has been saved at /tmp/job-ZXPsoC/index.html. One minor point: the old toast text "The EXIT is locked..." remains in the DOM but is hidden (opacity 0) — no problem.

Done. Writing the final report.

All checks pass. The game is complete in `/tmp/job-ZXPsoC/index.html` (single self-contained file, no external assets). **What I verified in the browser:** - **Initial render**: tile level with brick platforms/slabs, animated fire, animated water pit, glowing trophy, EXIT door with sign, 3 patrolling critters, player at spawn; controls displayed below the canvas and an in-canvas objective banner. - **Movement/jump/landing & full route**: a built-in debug autopilot (key `B`) drove the real physics through the level — walked, jumped ground→platform→platform→trophy ledge, collected the trophy (HUD flipped to `TROPHY: YES`), crossed the water gap via slabs, and reached the exit → **"LEVEL COMPLETE!"** win overlay in 5.2s. This proves the route is physically reachable with grounded-only jumps. - **Locked exit**: no-trophy route (key `N`) reached the exit → visible toast *"The EXIT is locked — find the trophy first!"*, level stayed active (state=play), trophy still collectible. - **Loss state**: hazard route (key `M`) walked into fire → **"YOU DIED!"** overlay, deaths counter incremented. - **Restart**: clicking the Restart button after death restored player spawn, trophy, enemy positions, and timer; overlay hidden. `R` key also restarts. - **Console**: clean (only a sandbox iframe warning from the harness, no page errors). **Unverified / by-construction only:** manual human key-hold play (I exercised input paths via the autopilot and key events rather than long manual sessions); enemy-contact death and water drowning were verified by code path + fire-death equivalence (same `die()` flow); wall-collision side impacts weren't individually screenshot-tested but are exercised constantly during the autopilot runs.
